Herbed Linguine with Garlic and Basil

- 3/4 Lb linguine pasta
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 clove garlics , crushed
- 1 tsp basil , or 2 Tbsp fresh, chopped
- 2 Tbsp parsley , chopped
- 1/4 tsp salt to taste (optional)
- 4 Tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
Cook pasta in boiling salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside. Heat oil in a small saucepan over medium low heat. Saut'e garlic 3-4 minutes. Do not brown. Discard garlic. Pour oil over pasta. Add remaining ingredients and pepper to taste and toss.
